Samsung, the South Korean consumer electronics giant announced that it will seek to collaborate with companies on the development of blockchain technologies.
Vice-Chairman of Samsung also said that they will work with other companies regarding projects such as the development of artificial intelligence and 6G networks.
In discussions with other Samsung executives, they discussed the potential collaborations and projects for the company. They are mainly seeking platform companies for making future acquisitions within a certain sector.
This move from Samsung is made to pursue the newest technologies and trends like blockchain and 6G to develop a strong platform in the industry.
As announced in May, future budget phone releases from Samsung will allegedly include blockchain and cryptocurrency features.
These kind of functions have already been confirmed for the flagship Samsung Galaxy s10 phones and thus will be implemented in other future releases coming from Samsung.
An anonymous source also stated that Samsung would eventually develop a blockchain with a token.
